About

Rembrandt's Night Watch anchors the Gallery of Honour, restored in full public view behind glass for anyone who wants to watch conservators work. The building itself is part of the exhibit: a public cycling tunnel runs straight through its ground floor, so commuters pedal past the entrance every few minutes without ever buying a ticket. Visitors under 18 get in free, and the gardens around the building cost nothing to walk through.
