About us
We got tired of juggling forty open tabs for one weekend in Amsterdam
Todo Amsterdam groups the city's best tours, hotels and tables by the neighbourhood you are actually near, with real filters standing in for a search box that just returns everything at once.
How it started
Built by people who kept replanning the same trip
Most guides to Amsterdam read the same way: a wall of attractions with no sense of what sits near what, hotel prices that assume you already know the neighbourhoods, and restaurant lists that never say whether you actually need to book ahead.
Todo Amsterdam started as a spreadsheet, grouping the things worth doing by the six areas visitors actually stay in and move between: Centrum and Dam Square, the Canal Ring and the Jordaan, the Museum Quarter and Vondelpark, De Pijp and Oud-Zuid, Nieuwmarkt and the Plantage, and Amsterdam Noord across the water.
That spreadsheet became a filter. Set a budget, a minimum rating and an area, and the forty listings on the guide narrow down to the handful that actually fit your trip.
How we choose
What earns a listing a spot
Checked, not scraped
Every address, price band and opening hour is reviewed by hand before it goes on the guide, then rechecked on a rolling basis.
No paid placement
Nothing moves up the list because a venue paid for it. Sort by rating and the highest rated listing shows first, every time.
Grouped honestly
A listing is tagged to the area it is genuinely closest to, not the trendiest neighbourhood name it could borrow.
Kept current
Prices drift and hours change with the season, so a wider price range beats a number that is quietly wrong.
