The world's only floating flower market, its stalls moored on barges along the Singel since 1862 and still selling from the same spot today. Tulip bulbs get boxed and certified for travel alongside cut flowers, seeds and a fair amount of wooden clog and cheese souvenirs aimed squarely at the walking traffic. It is a five minute stop for most people and a slow half hour for anyone who actually gardens.
